Usually it is a tire balance problem. If you don't rotate your tires regularly or have an alignment or shock issue your tires will wear abnormally & cause them to get out of balance which will cause your shimmy

Could be lots of problems. Does the bottom of your seat shake? That would be the rear part of the car. Do the pedals/steering wheel shake? Front end. The wheels or tires could be out of balance. To many variables to determine on line. Take to a certified mechanic or two and get a couple of opinions.

Tires are out of balance or so old and worn that they lose their shape at high road speeds. Get your tires balanced then see if it still does it. Or if you tires are old just replace them.

your tires are out of balance, look underneath the front of your tires and look at the tread from left to right and see if it is an even wear,if your car is out of alignment there will be little tread on either inside or outside of the tire
