how do i change my fuel pump in a 2002 mitsubishi galant?
am i able to get to it threw my back seat?

Had fuel leak repaired; shop doesn't have pressure cleaning to remove the leftover leaked gas from engine; need to clean it but don't know what product if any to use; I can pressure clean it at the car wash but will that remove remnants of fuel?

My check engine light has been on and the dealer says I have a bad oxygen sensor. It's a 2003 Caravan and I was under the hood last night to see how difficult it would be to change the sensor. They also told me my throttle body needed cleaning so when I went to check it out I realized they didn't put the intake hose from the air cleaner to the throttle body on all the way. After I checked it and put the hose on correctly the check engine light went off after I drove about 30 miles. I put the two things together and wonder if the sensor is really bad or the readings were off because of a lose intake hose. Anyone have any advice on this?

I have a 1996 chevy corsic v6 3.1. About a month ago my car locks started going crazy. The automatic locks would just keep locking over a over again and the inside light would stay on even after the car was shut off. I originaly just pulled the fuses on the locks and the overhead light, but the floor light would stay on. It is starting to weaken my battery so I need to get it fixed. My sister has the same model car (just with no enigine) that she lets me use for spare parts. I have found out that it should be a bad relay switch in the door. So where is this relay switch and how do i replace it. Or is it easier to just switch doors with my sister's car. Thanks for the help.

I have a 91 acclaim and I was having brake problems with the light going on when I braked and my wheel locking at certain times. When I called the mechanic he stated it might be a problem with a cable but ended up being the rear cylinders. I was charged for 2 cylinders rear brake shoe set, hardware kit, brake fluid and cleaner, 2 rear wheel seals, Torch gas? $9.95 and 2 hours labour
total $320. They also rotated my wheels at no charge but I am wondering about this Torch gas as I have never seen this on an invoice and suspect it is something they added on later.
In the past I have had really bad experiences with mechanics and being on a very very limited income I just want to know if I can really trust this one. They also stated there is no gaurantees with this repair but I should have no trouble. Thanks for any info I receive.

yes i know they are cr ap if worked on enough to just say scrap it
right head just been done. new coil have spark. have fuel tries to fire but some fuel still going nto sump is this block gone
the story is the chap went thruogh big puddle the car then ran for a bit but very rough then stopped i know this is scechy but this is all i have im just about to give up now but he ows me money

All the lights started to fail on my fiesta last night, just got it home.
Charged battery, but no ignition light this morning. Scared to use it in case the same thing happens again.

I have checked the cooling fan and it is working, but not coming on when the engine starts to overheat. There is some sort of switch inside a bolt on the radiator, the live feed for the fan goes into it and a switch feed comes out to the fan (if that makes sense). The live feed is good, but the switch feed does not come on. What is this 'bolt'? Is it a radiator thermostat, I thought the thermostat was in the engine block?

Also, the temperature indicator goes up to about a quarter, but never into the red, so not sure if the thermostat is knackered?

I have a '93 Ford F150, 302, 5 speed. Whenever I give my truck gas, (doesn't matter what gear it's in) I can hear a clunk, and then a squeeking sound as I speed up. When I let off of the gas, I can hear a clunk clunk clunk clunk sound. It will only do it when it gets a load put on it, as when I accelerate, and deccelerate, (without taking it out of gear). I've never had to change u-joints on anything before so I don't know what it sounds like when they go bad. By the way in case you are wondering, I just got done changing the oil in the rear end hoping maybe that was it....

I had one done on my vehicle today and they gave me a lot of information. I'm still a little worried though. The reason I got the diagnostics test ran on it was because my engine light was coming on when my car got warmed up. I was told by the service dept that this is probably due to a bad sensor. My car does not overheat, no white smoke, temperature gauges are all good, but my oil looks really dark and when the dipstick has been wiped on a cloth, the color looks kind of light black or dark greyish. If it was something serious like a blown gasket or cracked head, would they have told me after doing the diagnostics test? Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it just dirty oil that needs changed?

IN couple of thousand KM, the car is not getting smooth in road, and consume more fuel. If I add premium unleaded, it is better than the normal unleaded. But If I changed all spark plugs and leads at a time there is not any problem for 3000 to 4000 KM. I add fuel injection cleaner liquid in my petrol tank but it doesnot help.
