Its weird because I would barely go 1mph and I hear this noise. I have no clue where this noise is coming from, but I know its definitely in the front somewhere. I have a 2000 dodge durango 4wd.

I concur with the others, sounds like the front brake pads are worn down to their "squeal tabs". These are little metal tabs built into the pads so that when the pads are close to being totally worn out, you'll hear a distinctive and irritating squeal (particularly at low speeds) as your reminder to replace them ASAP. Be warned, do not ignore this safety warning! Driving for too long with worn out pads will definitely damage your brake rotors (discs) because the next thing to touch the discs will be the steel rivets that attach the pads to their backing plates. Then you're in for a complete replacement of both pads and discs.... $$$$$! Fear not, brake pads are not overly expensive, and it's an easy job for any half intelligent grease monkey with a few tools. FYI, rear brakes typically last twice as long as front ones because the front indeed does handle most of the braking.

It could well be your brakes. Since the front brakes do most of the work the pads ware out faster. If the squeak seem to com from Evey revolution of the wheels and may go way when you steep on the brakes that's probably the culprit

Is the front brakes. They make a very annoying sound when going bad. Even when the vehicle barely moves!

Is sometimes almost unbearable when going at high speed. Will mostly go away when you apply the brakes.

Its when the sound stops completely and you havent done anything about it, is when you worry. That means the brake pads a gone and your screwing up the rote-rs.

perhaps the backing plate in the back of the rotor is rubbing on the rotor. they did,nt attempt very demanding getting the axle nut off. I actually have not in any respect had to diminish the axle and that i replaced various axles and bearings. i wager they were turning the incorrect way on the nut.

id say get your brakes checked, they could have a stone or something in there, you really need to take it to a shop, but use a reputable company and talk to the ppl there, dont distance urself from the workers, they will help if you ask them, even if is reluctantly so.
