I can't figure out why my parking lights won't turn off after my car is off. The only solution I can figure right now is to disconnect the battery. Advanced Auto can't figure it out. They do not automatically turn on anymore either.
Please help!
Thank you.

I drove about 5 miles, oil warning light turned on, I checked the oil and there was none. I then added 3qts and drove 3 additional miles with low oil pressure. I changed the oil and filter, the pressure gauge went back to normal for about a half hour, but then went back to below normal w/ the warning light on. The engine sounded strong with no knocking. Is the oil pump the problem, or could it be something else?

My dad has told me it doesn't matter (save your money). However, my car manual says it should be changed every 5 years or 100,000 miles. Its a 2002 and it has been about 5 years. thoughts?

I have a '98 Kia Sephia and the cooling fan started rattling today when the fan operates. Without much know-how, is it easy to fix? Or at least, cheap to fix?

So, I just changed the spark plugs on my 2002 Jetta 1.8T. I did this in an effort to resolve a stalling problem, and it seems to have done the trick. Now, my car is knocking a little and seems to be "chugging" a little at idle. I adjusted the gap using a ruler and my eye.... I don't have one of those fancy adjustment tools... I thought I did a good job, but could this be my problem?

Thanks much

Someone responded saying that if its a manual (with a clutch) that you can't add the oil. If that is so, how does it get in the car, and how do you refill it if you accidentally take the oil out?
I know that you add transmission through the dipstick shaft, but the dipstick is not in the place that the diagram in my book shows. I can not find it anywhere, though everything else in the picture in my book is in the right place. Please help me find it.

My oem# 074A5K10. Yestrerday a guy referred me to a place on-line where I can sign-up and get it. He found it just from the # I listed above he knew it was a 302 and a 2bbl. I don't have a credit card to purchase on-line, and kragen&Napa can't find it in their book. They said to bring it in, I guess I can remove it in the parking lot if it gets down to it. Figured, it don't hurt to ask, though.

I have a 95 ford taurus that I have to fill the radiator often...like every couple of days. I have looked for leakage under the car and do not see any. Fan works fine, there is no coolant in the oil, no white smoke, I bought a new radiator cap. Next step is the thermostat. yesterday with the old radiator cap, the radiator cap was cold when i overheated. Today I did not overheat but the radiator cap felt warm. Seems that the coolant is disappearing while driving. Can this leak out only when driving? Also when I walk around to the front after engine has been running...It smells hot, I can smell the coolant.Any suggestions?
