I have had this car for 10 years, no problems. I go out today to start up, turns over but won't start. Check for fuel issues no problem, getting gas to the cylinders. Could it be that distributor cap, and rotor could be the problem. Regardless I'm going to replace as they are due, along with new spark plug wires and plugs, any answers? Thanks, Scott. P.S. engine is 318 automatic, with air conditioning, electronic ignition. P.P.S. I have pulled plugs and checked for spark, none. Since it is electronic ignition, no points, just cap, rotor, coil, and ignition module

- rinsing and driving doesn't seem to get the water off before it spots- my drives are not fast freeway trips.... Is there some type of rinse aid you can add to the rinse water?

* The engine temperature gauge randomly goes to full red
* 90% of the time it goes back down to normal all by itself in a matter of seconds.
* When the temperature does go all the way up, the a/c blows warmer air.
* Sometimes when the car is shut off, you can still hear the fan spinning (before the car was silent upon being shut off).

I don't know that the above are interrelated but they seemed to all occur around the same time. Also, the water level is fine. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

All the areas I can deal with repairing the rust holes and etc. The area I need help is localed above the JEEP logo and cowl areas. I have holes due to rust. I cleaned the area, but welding in pieces of square metal is going to be tough. I would like to use lead and shape it up. Any suggestions & comments, never done this. I just don't want to go Bondo crazy.

his car will start up and go in reverse, but as far as driving it, it will not go any where. I did a little research and i think that maybe he just has low transmission fluid and he needs to fill up the fluid. He says no, that his transmission is out. But I told him i did'nt think the transmission was totally out, because if the transmission is out it would'nt be able to start or go in reverse. I am not sure who is right. If you know something about cars. feel free to answer me back ASAP

ok fellas..and ladies if there are any.this is the issue. my truck will not start. the engine rotates, but will not start. replaced distributor car and coil. now this truck still has a carburator, so i pored gas into it and still nada,zip,ziltch.ANy BOWTIE brothers out there to help?!let me know if any more info is needed...........THANKS!!!!

It's an Onan Emerald Plus 4500 generator. It comes with the stock muffler. Is there anyway to make it more quiet? It's on a 1990 Ford Jamboree. Generator has only 450 hours on it. Runs great except for the noise.

My van is now 5 years old but only have 80,000KM on it. It seems lately to be running more roughly than usual so I had them change the gas and oil filter but I don't know enough about what else I should be asking to change? What else could I change to make it start to run smoother again? I also think I smell oil or something when I turn get out. I am afraid that the mechanics are not listening to my concerns because I am a girl. Any ideas fellas?
