Ask around your local area, Find a shop that does custom work, Do not I repeat do not go to a DEALER or Macco, they charge way to much (my uncle owns 5 in AZ) and their work in High quantity low quality! Find a local shop ask to see samples of their work. Any great custom painter has a album of pictures trust me. Then Get in good with one of the painters. Come back a couple times. Try to get a business card or a phone number to reach outside the shop, They will do theri work on the side for less money, They make more when the shop isn't taking a cut...... Have it done as a side job, My freind does Custom painting on the side all the time and he works for a big Collision center. try it its worth the time and effort, Most paint jobs with graphics will run you $1500-$2500. Side jobs can Save you $800 or more!

That really depends on how good of a job you want. Search out a body shop in your town that does graphics, and go by there so you can talk to them and they can look over the vehicle. You can tell them what you have in mind, and they can give you a price to do the job. A visit to more than one shop will arm you with the best information. See a really good job on a car somewhere, stop and ask them where it was done. Look in the phone directory under custom painting in the automotive section, and that too might yield a good answer! Good Luck!

whoever said 500-800 is crazy, first you should get the paint stiped and ur car primered so the new paint will hold better, then a cheap piant job is like 1,000, and it can get to 3,000 or more for a nice 1. Plus the graphics, and ur talkin about alotta money. You can save alota money by buying sticker graphics, take them to somewhere that does windo tnting to get the applied, there realy good at getting all the bubbles out.

I wouldn't pay anybody less then $1500 for a good paint job.... if they quote you less then that means they will be cutting corners to make up the cost, and you will end up paying more in the long run with the car.
When it comes to custom painting its hard to give a good quote with out seeing the car first but to give you an idea check out this link.... http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/1/web/469000-469999/469748_14_full.jpg
Price of the mustang's custom paint and body....$2500

Depends on various factors. But a regular paint job with decent paint on a small car is about $800, so you're looking at a lot more than that probably.

this depends on what kind of graphics and how detailed you would like this to be.check around for the best deal on what you would like. the shop can show you pictures of past jobs they have completed or pictures of what they will perform on your auto. you are looking at about 2.000 for a nice paint job with graphics. if the price is lower then ask to see a picture of the same or simular paint job. also get a written work order contract

Car, truck, motorcycle, boat, bicycle, shoes, wings, airplane, what? What's the design, what's the color, what graphics do you want? I think you win the award for the least amount of important info given.
