Depends upon the quality of the battery, and where you buy it.
Autozone, Pep-Boys, Kragen, Checkers, etc. all have a fairly decent battery for around $39.95 exchange.
BTW---give them the exchange (old one) it will save you a core charge, and old car batteries are considered hazardous material hazardous waste and are hard to get rid of legally.
Good Luck

Whatever you spend on any repair part for that car will only prolong its eventual demise. Prices will vary considerably because of brand, locale, quality, and a particular selection. Buy a name brand with a good warranty. Most folks are always surprised when the last 1/4 of their battery value is pro-ated to almost nothing.
