i had a anti freeze leak an thought i was the water pump it wasn't but i located the source but not sure what it is it's located back by the firewall about the middle of the engine down about the engine block there is a orange wire or cord coming from it, it's round and seems embedded in the side of the engine it seems like the old frost plugs of yesteryear if it is a frost plug should a professional replace it or should it be easy for me to replace it.

Ok my girl has a 2000 chevy cavailer that makes a grinding noise when it turns, when you try to start it. I checked the wires and they seem to not be loose? any one know enough about chevys to dtermine how to tell if it is the starter going out or if it could be the cylinoide? Thank you

Hi, I'm in the U.S. My car had a small crack in the radiator recently because of over heating. Now whenever the radiator fluid is warm, it leaks out from that crack. I think its the plastic part of the radiator. Or it may be metal, not sure. Is there something I can seal that crack with? Thanks for your help.

I have been getting an intermittent no start. The engine doesn't turn over and all i get is a click or a delay of 1 to 2 seconds before it will turn over when key in start. The last time i brought it in i wrote up a list for them to check which includes: 1) Check for broken, loose or disconnected wires in the starting circuit. Inspect all wires and connectors at the battery, starter solenoid and igition switch (on the steering column) 2) Bad starter solenoid 3) Bad starter motor 4) Bad ignition switch. They replaced the remanufactured starter with another and i still get the intermittent no start. I went on the internet and searched for people who had a similar problem as i do with the same model and found the a bad interlock relay could cause the same no start,so i went to a junk yard and found a newer interlock relay and replaced it only to find it wasn't a bad relay. What should i do different this time when i bring it in to them? They are ASE and have trusted them for 15 yrs bring it

I have an '04 Honda Accord, that is very low on transmission fluid. I checked the manual b/c I can only find the dipstick for the fluid, not the actual place to put it. The manual says if you don't know how to do it, contact the dealer. I just need to know where to put it??

My car uses 5 W 20 and I bought what I thought was two bottles. Turns out one of the bottles was 10 W 30, and I didn't realize it until after I poured it in. Will anything happen to my car? (Honda Accord 04)

Both front turn signal lights and dash indicator turn signals light when Lt or Rt turn is selected. Only the correct rear light flashes when a Lt or Rt turn is selected. Flashers operate properly. I have check all exposed wiring (not under the dash) for short, broken wires and corrosion in the socket contacts and wiring harness connectors from the firewall to the lights. A new OEM turn signal switch has been installed and this did not correct the problem.

99 Dodge Durango. New battery - replaced week ago. Now the battery won't keep a charge. Engine will not turn over unless getting a jump start using jumper cables. Car will remain running once started. The dashboard indicator stays in the center showing neither a gain nor a loss of battery charge. Possible bad alternator? Other ideas?
