most likely you will gain less than or equal to about 5 HP. do not believe all the 10+ HP things. these are based on if you were to take a fully tuned car and go from an airbox to a Cold Air Intake.
but the sound is great! some CAI's make a whistle sound that can get annoying, but for the most part it sounds great! your engine will be a bit more free-reving.
remember that nothing 'adds' HP. it only free's up available HP. every engine has a MAX HP value. things are placed on it based on emissions and noise. the goals are to free up available power. hence, a CAI gets more air than the standard air box, and from a better place to get air from, outside of the engine compartment. keep thinking along these lines and have fun tuning...

A lighter wallet. The claims of an added 10 - 15 hp gain are an exaggeration as the numbers are used from a vehicle in a labratory setting running above 4000 rpm. Unless you are going racing and are doing a ton of other mods you would be better off investing in a free flow cat-back exhaust, good for a few honest hp at most rpm ranges vs looney-tunes rpm needed for hp with a cold air tube. Remember, most modern era vehicles are designed for optimal performance in the most usable rpm range from stock. Do you really think the manufacturers would not opt to equip the cars with a cold air tube for 15 free hp? Keep in mind that every car built since the seventies has a cold air intake built in.

about 2.5 - 5.5 more hp. It's always worth it. Not a huge increase, but on a budget, some is always better than none

more power... cold air is more dense than hot air... thus more oxygen to burn than hot air...
also a thinner wallet,... that way your arent driving lopsided or on a tilt from sitting on your wallet... :)
