what are you missing the disconnect the battery remove the belt remove the two main bolts and the bracket to the back of the alternator 3 more bolts? take the red rubber boot back remove the 13mm nut that holds the battery wire on and one plug.

chris, three are about three bolts and if front wheel drive then you have to loose up the s belt and is it a 4 or 6..first find your alt..it aint one behind the powersteering pump is it..then yor in for some major fun..loosen the s belt and then loosen the bolts that hold the alt ..and unplug the alt and remove it and install the new ..oh yeah take off the postive battery cable or is it neg..first..once your got the old one off just restall the new inverse and then tighten up the s belt..have fun dude and dont be afraid to ask the guys at the auto parts store for some help..
