If gas was $12 a gallon for regular unleaded, would you consider riding a Motorcycle that gets between 50 to 101 miles per gallon? Would this be good for people in the long run?

I always take the bus if i need to go anywhere in jersey, but im going down to my beach house at the shore for the weekend and am going to try taking the train down there. i was just curious if the trains have snack carts and restrooms on it? i know a silly question but i will be leaving really early in the morning tomorrow and would like to grab something to eat on the train. thanks in advance!

Why? Wouldn't it be much easier if you will drive sitting in the middle of your car? Please, no "I don't know"answers.

My friends son-in-law had his parents coming to visit him from California to Illinois. They were stranded in Wyoming and told the car cost too much to fix. so he drove in a rented vehicle from Illinois to Wyoming to pick them up and bring them to Illinois. How much do you think it cost to rent this mini van for a couple of days? I think he should take them back to California. What do you think?

It seems to me that drivers and walkers are half asleep while commuting to work and often put cyclists at risk.

What do you think?

I went car shopping this weekend. On the Hybrid cars the mpg rating for the highway driving is worse than city. This is complete opposite from gasoline cars that get better on the highway. I don't get it?

I know that Union square station of NY subway has "moving platform" system. Because platforms are at curvature.

Does any other station (not only subway) have moving platform system?

My car must be invisable, because someone always pulls out infront of me going at leaset 10 under the speed limit. then you have the people that are trying to do two things at once and can't.

Anyone else?

Someone once told me that highways run north/south and freeways run east/west. Is that what it is or is there another reason why they are called highways and freeways?
