The signs along the freeway in Washington state say keep right except to pass. Even when there isn't alot of traffic you still find people driving in the fast lane who have no business being there. So my question, who are you and why are you there?

JUST because it's drizzling outside, doesn't mean you slow other people down. If you are afraid to drive in the rain, GET OFF THE EFFIN' ROAD!! I had to pass TWO cars tonight because they were going ridiculously slow on the highway. I admit I broke the law and passed one vehicle on a double lane road, but they were going DOWNHILL between 35-40 mph in a 55 mph zone ON THE HIGHWAY! It was straight and clear 'cept for a little sprinkle. People from Florida that have visited California know what I'm talking about. Californians think that sprinkling is raining! Crazy Californians. I may be Californian, but I don't drive as slow as old people write checks! C'mon! It's only sprinkling! Find that gas pedal, grandpa!

I drive alot for work. ALOT. I can't stand idiots who don't use turn signals, drive slow in the fast lane, cut me off in traffic, pull out right in front of my moving vehicle....the list goes on and on.

My question is, am I wrong for wishing for these individuals to die slowly in a firey car wreck? It does make me feel better thinking this.............

I've heard people talking about going to the end of the earth and I would like to go there to see it for myself.

Assuming that my start place is London, can somebody give me accurate directions as I don't have a sat nav and a rough idea on how many miles I will travel to get there?

Because it is not a road I've been on before I will be driving a 4X4 Land Rover Discovery.

Can you also tell me how much money I will have to take with me for fuel? I will start of with a full tank of fuel and will get an average 30mpg.

I will be taking most of my food and water etc. with me along with a one burner cooking stove to keep the weight down. I have also budgeted for any food & sundries that I may have to purchase on route.

The vehicle has just had a major service and is ready to go.

There's this street, at a side street off a busy 6 lane road, that's always red when I get to it, even if no cars are there to turn.
There's one exit where I get off the freeway, and I catch the green 99.999% of the time.
There's another street at an intersection where there are 2 left turn lanes, but the one on the right is also a straight lane. I need to go straight, but ALWAYS, all the left turners are in the straight or left lane, and no one turning left uses the left left lane. IS this a self-fulfilling prophecy? Can I tap into this "power"? Any similar experiences?

I have had my license for at least 4 months..today finally my dad let me drive on the expressway.. to pick up my mom in Miami Beach..we live in south miami..so i had to take the expressway.. i was so nervous! and my dad makes me even more nervous..i wanted to know what i should do about using the mirrors..i am so afraid of changing lanes because i dont want to get rear ended..if i have my signals, and start turning will the people behind me let me? Also, when i am merging how do i get the people let me through..merging is also hard for me because people won't let you through i have no choice but to force my way through regardless..and what is a safe speed..cuz my dad complains when i go to slow and when i go to fast..any advice of how to get over my nervousness (my heart beats like crazy) i am afraid of getting into an accident..

Look I'm in my mid twenties. The love of my life is two states away.
I have to see him. It has been 3 months. Long story how I got out here. I have no friends or family here. My family lives half way across the country. I am dying to see my soulmate. He is dying to see me. I do not have a vehicle right now, because it is states away at my dads and I am letting him use it for work, since he is real hard up right now.

My question: How with no vehicle, only a couple hundred bucks. Do I get there?
I can't take the bus or train, because there is no way that I will leave my dog behind.
I can wait no longer, I have to see my love.

What would you do? If I wait one more month,I will have my truck back and my license back and can drive up. However, it has already been nearly 4 months. I can wait no longer.

Should I hitchhike? How safe during the holidays is that-for a woman to do?
