Sorry this happened to you it is a heck of a disappointment. I had three goes.
I forget to cancel an indicator on my first test and that was the end of that. They do not look for a perfect drive but when you make a bad error they point out all the others you made.
My second test was a disaster in a Ford Escort. the reverse gear was press down and top left. First gear was top left and no press down. It was a hill start I listened to the engine note and the clutch started to bite, I released the hand brake and the car rolled backwards. I caught it, gave more revs released the handbrake and shot back three car lengths before I could stop. I had already made a very stupid error about ten yards further down the road. Hhe made me complete the test. The third one I argued with the examiner the whole way around and it I thought he would fail me. I passed and was about to dispute it when I realised I had passed. The examiner allowed himself a little grin when he saw my confusion.

Best wishes for the next one. Do not dispair

Twice for me. I was going over speed limit by 5 mph. Book said urban area's speed limit is usually 25mph, so I made sure I went below that. Little did I know the town where I took my driving test had speed limit of 20mph throughout. There was one speed limit sign posted along the whole way!

Went back a week later and passed.

No substitute for experience. Rack up a LOT of experience in the car you're going to use for the test. Get to where everything you do is "just automatic" in your brain, like throwing on turn signals at the right time, knowing to turn them off when they don't autoclick off etc. Knowing where the wipers and lights etc. are in the car you're testing on etc.

And actually do the stuff on the test everyday as you practice driving. Use turn signals. Turn on lights. If you fumble when he says "turn on the lights", that's because you blew that off when you were practicing. Don't do that.

Driving isn't real hard but it can't JUST be book studied. Practice practice practice.

Once...but I could read and understand the questions on the written test and could speak clearly so the driving instructor understood me.

Twice. Don't let it worry you, treat it as a mock exam and next time you'll be better prepared and know what to expect. Good Luck!

Just the 1, But hey your a girl and women don't grasp the concept of driving so it might take you 5 or 6 attempts, don't worry, at least your keeping your D.I. in work.

Only once for me, but it's pretty common, I think, for people to have to try again. My HS BF tried for his license shortly after me, and it took him 3 tries!
