The signs along the freeway in Washington state say keep right except to pass. Even when there isn't alot of traffic you still find people driving in the fast lane who have no business being there. So my question, who are you and why are you there?

1. The least traffic is in the left lane.
2. You only have to worry about cars on your right instead of your left and right.
3. You don't have to worry about cars merging onto the road.
The fast lane is the place to be! (Note: I obey the law, so it's not me. I'm just explaining.)

I agree this is so annoying ...In most states their are signs that say slower traffic drive in right lane..Yet these slow pokes
Tye up traffic and get on allot of peoples nerves... In Chicago Illinois you will be pushed off the road by irate drivers and police will ticket for obstructing traffic.. Go with the flow or get off the interstate !!!

I use to drive like 120 miles a day for over 2 years - I have to agree that there are lots of stupid drivers who keep on passing on the right and drivers that drive 70 in the right most lane and keep slamming on the breakes when cars are entering from an on ramp.

I am a native Atlantan and we drive "fast", a well known fact. You have "hit" a "pet peeve" of mine. Georgia's Department of Transportation will tell you the "fast lane" is for "faster moving" traffic. This means yield to faster traffic, GET OVER. Just because it is your opinion your current speed is OK does not mean stay and impede faster traffic.

Our Commissioner of Georgia's Department of Transportation recently was on talk radio hosted by Neal Boortz. A caller had this specific question and he stated the left or fast lane is for faster moving traffic regardless.

My mom does it and she says since she is going the speed limit that is fast enough for anybody. If she wants to go slower than the speed limit she moves over to the right.

She doesn't know there are two speed limits, one for all the lanes except the left lane.

If you find out, let me know. We have the same laws and the same people in Kentucky.

If they are doing 80, then I don't mind it. When they are doing just the speed limit or even slower, it bugs me. Especially, when I pass them while I'm in the right lane.

I hate those people! The ones who are going so slow in the left lane, that people in the right lane pass them. *Shakes fist at slow drivers* lol

I've seen women put make-up on while driving, people talking to other passengers (tourists), but the ones that makes me the most mad are the ones on their cell phones!

...and we have to get out of their way. Be nice to go back to before cell phones were carried.

Merry Xmas everyone.
