it would be nice to get on the train & sit down & let someone else do the driving.This would cost a fortune "true" but we have already spent billions of dollars on prisons,wars,(we have not always been the good guys)corruption & damage to the enviorment to pay for such a system.Just think of the productive jobs this would create & the safe traveling across country.It would take a lot of work but its a plan i think this country should look at.We could use diesel electric to power the system wind power in areas where it can be used effectively in conjunction with the diesel electric.What do you think?

Why do they do this?

The middle and outside lanes are for overtaking only, not driving in. I think some people have the attitude of 'my car is too expensive or powerful to drive in the inside lane'

Why do they do this?? i find it very annoying and I reckon thats the cause of traffic queues. People that do it should be fined and receive penalty points. Why do you think?

The last 5 months, I drove my car. A co worker of mine told me he doesn't live that far either so rides his bike to work, he gets up a little earlier, takes a shower at work(where I work they do have two showers, a locker area and a gym, only reason why I don't ride at this time is because being a out of shape guy for cardio, making it there would be a big time struggle, so would you guys recommend just keep at it? Another option is walking, but 3.7 miles would take a long long time each day. And the last option I just recently considered the go-ped method, (the site is http://urbanscooters.com/cgi-bin/urbanscooters/SPORT.html) I figure this would save me more money than the car? So the options are walking, biking, go-ped, and car. My pro and cons for each are walking(Long but Great savings in $) Bike(Helps me loose weight, but will need to shower and get ready at work) go-ped(Fun and probably saves me some money but upfront costs) Car(quickest & most costly). Any opinions?

I had no insurance so I got a year suspension after showing proof of new insurance. The Court said I could only commute to work and back.

Why didn't they verify what that commute was? If I ever got caught driving all I'd ever have to say is that "I'm commuting right now", right? They never said what my route must be nor even checked that I in fact worked an hour's drive away.

I mean I'd have to get gas at some point, point? So I'd have to get off the commute route to do that, meaning I could get groceries or do about anything else on my way to getting gas or on my way home.

Is this my fault somehow? Or a flaw in the legal system at that time?

I know it can be comfy to put your feet up, but can you not consider others? Do you want to sit on a seat after someone else has had their dirty shoes on there? We just live in an age where no one has any consideration for others.

I would travel by plane but it would cost me a total of $481.90 there and back! To get there in and back in gas would only cost me $360! Do you think it's better to drive or ride on an airplane? I'm traveling from Nashville, TN to Flanders, NJ(Trenton, NJ if flying).
Since I plan on driving(unless someone changes my mind);
~Tell me how to be safe.
~Tell me what things to be aware during the trip(in other people) so that I can be safe.
~Tell me safest places to rest and eat that are still not too expensive.
And please, if you have any additional information for me about safety, or ANYTHING really, just reply here or e-mail me! This is my FIRST road trip! It's 837.86 miles and it's going to take me 13hours and 16 minutes. Also, I'm driving alone! How can I keep myself entertained and awake?! Help!
