I've heard people talking about going to the end of the earth and I would like to go there to see it for myself.

Assuming that my start place is London, can somebody give me accurate directions as I don't have a sat nav and a rough idea on how many miles I will travel to get there?

Because it is not a road I've been on before I will be driving a 4X4 Land Rover Discovery.

Can you also tell me how much money I will have to take with me for fuel? I will start of with a full tank of fuel and will get an average 30mpg.

I will be taking most of my food and water etc. with me along with a one burner cooking stove to keep the weight down. I have also budgeted for any food & sundries that I may have to purchase on route.

The vehicle has just had a major service and is ready to go.
THANK YOU, all information will be greatly appreciated.

ps. Will I have to take an elephant gun with me?

Oh, you mean Blackpool ! ! .Starting from London go on the M40 north until you reach the M6 and keep going until you get a funny smell in your nose......that's Birmingham.......keep going north on the M6 and Blackpool is signposted......follow the signs until you see the lights......no, don't blink.....argh..you.ve just driven through it.....turn round.....can you smell it??.....snniifff!!.....can you see it???........looook!!.....argh, careful, you nearly trod in it!! Seriously, Blackpool must be the "End of the earth".......and you will need a lottery win to stay here........oh, and the elephants have their own gun's, so no need to bring 'em another.......enjoy.....

Do You know what will never end????
Pesimistic guys spreading the "word" that the world is going to end....They make me feel sick...
If the earth were about to dissapear, I would take my old 1994 Toyota, (I will have to push it all the way), to my litte town of Paris, Texas.,.,,,I will be safe there, earth or no earth reaching its end.....
Elephant???? no,...too much gas spent in the adventure,....
Take plenty of playboy magazines, and don forget to carry your lap top with you........after all you need to chat and e- mail friends about something so important as the end of the planet....However I am taking my French Poodle dog Stalin with me,,,,(no matter whet George W says)...,and my photo collection of the Rocky mountains......to remember in the next decades how it used to look like...
And yes, taking fuel with you, will be a nice idea...I am carrying some few batteries and my electric torch.....(just in case)

Ad a Scouser I believe the end of the world is Birkenhead.

get onto the M! and just south of Birmingham transfer to the M6
(£4 for M6 toll) continue for about 90 miles and get onto the M56 follow the road signs

well firstly may i say that it would be hard to place an accurate price on the fuel you would consume on such a treacherous journey to bognor regis, but I'd say about 50 quid should do it, instead of an elephant gun, try a kiss me quick hat, terrifying to the local wildlife, so no problems there. there is a local supply shop called McDonald's, they should keep you in rations for the duration. good luck, and merry Christmas!!

Earth has no end at all , maybe your friends did not mean it literally , however there is a place which is considered " the end of the earth" which is Patagonia in Argentina, its the gate to the South pole .

Lands End in England. U could use G maps to get distance and route. Don't think firearms are necessary or recommended when motoring England. lmao
