I was going to give you a smart@ss answer & decided that wouldn't be appropriate.
Sometimes I get ticked at how other people drive - then I realize that I probably do stuff that ticks other people off. So, in the end, we're all even! : )
Glad that your anger management techniques are working! You'll find that you're an even more fabulous person with your anger under control than you were before!

I believe we all have it to some degree. Perhaps even just the high pitches that emanate from the movements involved in the whole activity go beyond our concious ability to understand most of the stimulations entering our nervous system and refracting to such a degree that some of it is managed irritably. The overload can manifest as a "short temperament" and built up upon the other factors involved in society can and does get to levels where one step too far and someone can die. A rolling vehicle is not a game where this can be tolerated and if someones propensity is to express such irritation upon others where at all cost death should be avoided... well, dont be surprised if man still cant dominate it. Ive been driving since 1966 and I still hate the stoplights and traffic and everything else including god at times. And just watch how people want to crawl under the seat when someone cuts in front of me by surprise.

I have been told by my family and friends that I have the worst road rage ever. The thing is I live in a very small village and the drivers here drive so slow and very stupid. I can not stand it! I swear there's never a day that someone pisses me off when I am driving. My fiance says I take it to the extreme but I honestly don't think so. There are times when I'm in the passengers seat and someone else is driving I immediately rush to the steering wheel to honk at the person and I flick them off.Today we were pulling out of a gas station and this car cut off in front of us and my fiance was driving and I honked for like 5 minutes and just went on a rampage cursing them out and I was flicking them off for like 2 minutes straight. Yeah I have it really bad, I tried to stop it but I just cant help it. The other day this semi truck switched lanes and almost hit my car. You already know I went psychotic on them, honking and cursing them out(As if they can even here me)LOL. I never used to be like this, I got all these bad habits from my best friend. I don't think I can ever stop!

I just sing Jimmy Buffets song and keep on trucking. "On some Beach Somewere". Driving down the interstate, running 30 minutes late, singing margaritaville and minding my own. A foreign car driver pills up beside me, talking on the cell phone, he starts yelling at me like I did something wrong, he flips me the bird, and then he was gone,"Some Beach" some were. "Caution" Road Rage can get you killed, there are a lot of huts out there. They think they own the Hiway and there the only one out there. Never yell or scream at these people or make eye contact with them, the life you save can be your own or others. Get you anger in check, just say Oh well and go on.

I think everyone has a certain degree of road rage... With me, I yell like crazy.. I've only flipped someone off once, however, and only honked twice. But I curse and yell and I just can't believe how slow or stupid people drive!! My boyfriend has it a little bit worse than me... If someone REALLY pisses him off, he'll get out of the car and try to fight... haha...

Please don't move to LA, there are too many here already.
Good luck on your anger management classes. I hope you find what is your real source of rage....since traffic in Georgia shouldn't be that bad unless in are in Atlanta.
It disturbs me that your friends wouldn't ask you to let them drive instead of getting out of the car, there seems to be something missing in that conversation. I would hope they care enough about you to drive when you are that obviously upset.

I used to live in Phoenix and I couldn't even drive out of my neighborhood without getting irritated with somebody. I have been fine ever since I left that hellhole. I just think that I am relieved to be outta there. When I see dumb things now, I can just brush them off. I am much happier
