I would at least give half of what it takes to fill up the tank, probably like $15 to $20 it depends on how much it takes to fill the tank on every car.

When she fills up, fill up the tank. If you had to put a number to it approximately $40-$50 is reasonable for the cost of gas and its somewhere that both of you want to go. Have fun on your trip.

Why not offer to fill up on the way to your trip, and she will fill up on the way home, this way, it may not be an even amount, but everyone is still sharing expenses. If this is her car, you may even want to pay for gas going and coming, and have her pay for the fuel used while on vacation. She will have to pay for the maintenance for the car anyway, later.

Either offer her $40.00 or fill the tank

If She doesn't let you do either of those then make sure you pay for lunch.

Have a nice trip =)

are you two coming back? if so then offer to pay either going there or going back. if it was me, i would offer to fill the tank up if my firend was driving, because she is risking getting into an accident with her car, and also getting tire wear.
