I'm really interested in a 2007 Pontiac Torrent. I'm willing to fork out the money for it but I want to make sure I'm getting a good reliable car for the money. Do you yourself or someone you know own one? If so, how do you like it.

I'm wondering if there will be a market for this vehicle, a RWD 4 door. I'm in the north east and winter driving is an obvious concern. What do you think?

I have a 97 grand am and noticed today the cooling fan would not shut off when i turned the car off. The car was not overheating, and the ac/heater was off. I turned the car on and off a few times. I was thinking of taking the battery connection off but dont have the tools with me. Wondering if anyone knew why this would be happening?

i have a 67 GTO. What is the correct color for this block?
I have heard blue metallic, blue green, blue green metallic, turquiose, metallic turquois. GM corporate blue and the list goes on. actually if anyone could tell me what colors were used throughout the years would be a big help.

My 97 3.8 liter GP has developed a serious collant leak from a rather odd location. I added coolant directly to the radiator as it was quite low. After starting the engine, a stream about the size of a pencil was observed above the water pump. The brownish area in the following pictures link is where the stream is seen:
http://home.comcast.net/~ckrusen/PP002.jpg

This is a close up of the area. The red arrow points to where the stream is coming from(the stream is actually coming from under the black bracket).

There is an odd plastic tube with a sharp 90 degree bend just below the leak. It apears to go from behind the sepentine tensionor bracket to the engine block or perhaps intake manifold.

Hopefully this is just some overflow point, but I couldn't get that lucky.

Any help would be be great.

I'm thinking about getting a 96 Trans Am 5.7 V8. At the time, the car surveys were raving about how reliable and well-made these cars were. Has that translated into good longevity? Or would a ten-year old Trans Am fall apart on me like a lasagna?
