I'm really interested in a 2007 Pontiac Torrent. I'm willing to fork out the money for it but I want to make sure I'm getting a good reliable car for the money. Do you yourself or someone you know own one? If so, how do you like it.

Mine was a great buy for the money. The engine is a little raspy; but it handles and drives well. Sure can't attest to reliability, since we've only had it about six months
My last GM vehicle, which was rated to have awful reliability, gave me little problems all the way up to 134K miles.

My mom drives one, and she loves it.
As far as reliability, this one comes with GMs 5 year / 100,000 mile warranty. It would be hard to figure it isn't a reliable CUV.
