I put the press release pix up on my dealerships' website, and have been showing them around a lot. I'm getting a fairly positive reaction, in general. My biggest concern is for my older customers who will not want the performance, or RWD.

I guess it will be Buick time for them!

Its about time!! I am glad Pontiac is finally getting back to rear wheel drive. They are the performance division of GM in the US and a front wheel drive performance car is a poor excuse. The car looks great and if priced right, it should sell very well. I can't wait to see Pontiac's whole line up go to rear wheel drive. I might be switching from my SUV to a car if Pontiac does this right.

I have a '98 Grand Prix and I have been waiting for the replacement. This falls right inline with my 10 year plan. I'm glad that they are importing Holden SSV. It's already tested and proven, so there should not be any problems associated with a totally new model.

What happened to the G7? lol.

oh, and the G8 looks like crap. The GTO pwnz it with a double edged sword + fire damage.

Its a VE Holden Commodore SSV, basically. It has a butt ugly front end beacause you bloody seppos let Pontiac loose on it. Pontiac wrecked the Monaro (GTO) now look what they've done to the quintessential Australian sport sedan. Wrecked it. You yanks should learn to leave well enough alone, and Pontiac's entire styling division should be sacked.
R.I.P SSV

Don't mind it, looks a little plain. Will be a nice replacement for the Bonneville (R.I.P.), though.
