It is on the exhaust system, and may be located on or near the catalytic converter.

bank 1 sensor 1 comes off the forward bank of cylinders as you look at it. the exhaust gasses from #1 cylinder will pass that O2. In this case you will have a preheated O2 with 4 wires coming out of it. The sensor itself looks like a funny shaped spark plug. it is possible for the manufacturer to have put a heat shield around or over this sensor. I would suggest that you take to a local Auto Zone and get their inspection.. won't cost you anything

That car has 2 oxygen sensors. #1 oxygen sensor sensor (bank 1,oxygen sensor #1) is located in the rear exhaust manifold. #2 sensor (bank 1,oxygen sensor #2) is located in the exhaust pipe behind the catalytic converter.

There are 3 possibly 4.
There will one one on each exhaust manifold and one behind the cat converter. Some models had one in front of the cat also.
They are a round tube shaped item with a 4 wire connector going to them. Takes a 7/8" wrench to take one out.
