I am curious of the number, as I am looking at one. They seem fairly rare and I am already pretty affluent with finding numbers on the GTOs. Seems like a solid deal, but do you find the numbers on the engine block in the same place on an OHC6 Lemans? Also, do they sell reproduction LeMans interior in different colors? What about a book to decipher the #'s on the block, intake, data plate, vin, ect.? Any additional information would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 72 Pontiac GTO 455 H.O. 4 speed, the factory manifolds have been resurfaced and I added a copper gasket, but they continue to develope leaks, I know headers tend to leak and they are hard to find for round port heads, but I don't know if the head needs to be drilled for a header bolt to bolt into the end of the head to create a good seal. By the way I have the stock heads and a large cam with a .030 over engine bore.

I just asked a question on how to locate the fuel pump. I heard people mention that it is a hard task to complete. Could someone please explain the process of changing the fuel pump. The shop I took it to wanted to charge me over $700 for the part and labor. Which I thought was rather high. Thanks for your time.

The #4 bearing and rod went to pot on my car. During repair the mechanic found out that my car is not supposed to have an EGR Valve, yet a hole was bored in the head. Is this a factory defect, or is it possible to have the casting plug fall out while driving?

I have a 1980 trans am pace car right now, and there are some things wrong with it and I would like to restore it, but it just takes too much work, time, and money. For the same money to fix up my car, I could just get a 99-04 mustang. I've been thinking about this for months. What should I do?!?!

I recently put a 455 in my '69 firebird to do some racing but can't get that horse power to the road with the standard wheel/tire combination. I would like to go with a 245 or so (bigger) up front and a 305 or so (bigger) in back but am not sure if they will fit the factory wheel well. I don't want to cut any metal.
