No, they don't. The trans-am one of the F-body cars (AKA Camaro and Firebird). This line was discontinued in 2002. This line of vehicles has existed in various forms since 1967. In their last incarnation they were rear wheel drive cars powered either 3.8 liter v6 or 5.7 liter v8 engines.
The Trans-Am should not be confused with the Grand Am which is pontiac's compact car. The Grand-am is a front drive economy car.
There has been talk about the return of the Trans-am as Chevrolet has shown a concept Camaro (the cars are siblings so the return of one might suggest the return of the other) but this seems unlikely as Pontiac has been building the reputation of the GTO for the past few years and will likely badge any new muscle car as a GTO. Only time will tell.

Nope 2002 was the Last year..I'm sadden by it! It was such a beautiful beast of a Car. My mother owned an 81 Trans AM. We ended up selling it after my sister came into the family. Couldn't really fit a car seat back there =( I'm hoping the concept car becomes real and they do bring it back! That would be awesome!

No. However, theres is a concept out but i seriously doubt it will be produced. I havn't gotten any info or specs on them like we have with the 08 camaro from GM. I'm a GM sales rep and we have yet to hear from GM about any of the concepts being spoken of being produced besides the camaro. (also, theres is a Grand National concept that is looking promissing, it's on the G6 platform but we'll have to wait and see)
