well here i go again. car works fine until it gets hot, once it gets hot, you can step on the excelerator and it wont go, it just stumbles and on occasion it sounds like it back fires. ok i replaced the maf but still no dice. i got trouble codes po171,po174,p1151,p1131. i dont have a proper airfilter on there just one i fastend from an f150. i already changed out the fuel filter and in the process of changing out the tps. also when you unplugg the maf, it buys you a little time before it stumbles again, this happened on with the new sensor as well. this is very puzzling and have yet to find a solution. i really hope someone out there can help. thanx in advance

I checked the bulbs, they are good. The other 2 brake lights do work. There is no voltage at the wires leading to the brake light. I do not have the original owner's manual, so please be specific when giving me hints. The first thing I would like to do is to check the fuse for this light, but I do not know the abbreviation for it.
Any other hints are welcome.

Help! I have had my '05 Taurus in the shop many times because my "Check Charging System" message keeps popping up -- they have replaced TWO alternaters and I am still getting the message. According to them the tester shows that it is kicking out plenty of voltage and the light does not stay on constantly. It will go on and stay on sometimes for a brief second, sometimes for several minutes. Is there anything else I could ask them to check or did I buy a lemon?? Thanks

I hit a cement barrier going about 40 mph on the passenger side corner of my bumper (98 Civic HX). Bags didn't deploy but the bumper (not the skirt) is shoved up in that corner. I don't know where the sensors are in the front, and I don't know if i try to straighten the bumper out, if it'll set off the bags. HELP!

disengage. In order to move the gear shift I need to restart the car. I just bought the car from a dealer. How serious is this issue? I have a verbal agreement that there is nothing wrong with the car but no written agreement.

OK, now my mechanic who i'm quickly losing faith with has sias this car has a gas preference. Last time a i checked cars don't know the difference unless this one has feelings, which i doubt. Anyway this is a fairly new car and everything else is working great, so what should i do to fix this car. My guess was the fuel pump, but with my luck it's probably not. The whistle is high pitched and a bit lobsided sounding. It also seems to struggle to maintain an idle. This problem is persistant and fairly frequent. The stalling isn't as frequent, but it is rather jumpy. That's pretty muc the problem. Any suggestions would be great. on what this could be so when i take it back to my mechanic i can ask him to check it. Thanks

The front power windows on my 1996 Lumina move up slowly and sometimes stop half way up. When I leave them alone for awhile, they usually go up normally. Switch or motor?
