I recently upgraded to a 800watt rms amp, 1500w bridged at 2 ohms, which is how i have it wired to my subwoofers. I had a 450w amp in my car before that. I kept the old power wiring and hooked it up to my new amp. Both power and ground wires are 10 gauge and are rated at 200watts, is it bad to have my amp running on these wires? And if so, what should i upgrade to?

Is Pioneer AVIC-N3 IN DASH GPS navigation compatable with Pioneer car dvd in-dash units, i.e. Pioneer AVH-P7800DVD? If so, what would I have to get, i.e. DVD/CD navigation receiver, etc? I would just get the Pioneer AVIC-N3 unit but it's screen size is 6'5" and the Pioneer AVH-P7800DVD screen size is 7" which is personally better for me.

I am trying to get my iPod to shuffle songs, but when I connect my iPod to the dohickey in my BMW the shuffle option discontinues and it just starts playing complete albums.

They sound great until you get the volume about half way up, then they kick the protection on the amp....do I need a partion in the box? What am I missing here?? They are wired the same exact way the JL's were wired and they slammed!! Whats wrong??

I have a 99' Honda Civic with a stock stereo. I can play burned cd's perfectly fine, but I can't skip ahead to other tracks. I have tried to clean the lens, and have used multiple types of CD-Rs. I do have some burned cd's that work fine using Memorex CD-R's, but they were burned on someone else's computer. So I'm not sure if it's my burner, the crap program I use, or the CD-R brand.
I know the easiest thing is to buy a new car stereo. I can't right now, so please don't suggest it... =)

i have gotten a packaged deal with sony. the sony 2 channel 1200 watt amp sucks. it shuts off all the fn time and if u barely crank it up it will shut off the subs. so i just want to get a nu amp. i also have 4 speakers. should i get a 4 channel amp and would that cover the subs 2 or what should i do

I have an older model Kenwood KACX301T amp. I cant seem to find the manual for it anywhere. All the lights are on but no sound. I did notice that the BMI light is red. I have no idea what that is or if has something to do with why my bass is not knocking. Any ideas?
