The idea is to have a "non-hard drive" based computer that runs standalone Windows XPE (pre-installation environment, not to be confused with WinPE, actual Windows XP design the way YOU want it) from a Bootable-CD from one CD-ROM.

Your MP3's are stored on DVD's and up to three DVD-ROMs may be used for DVD MP3's since there is no hard drive. Three DVD's hold 14 Gig of info which equals about 2700 songs or more.

This all ties into your sound system.

No hard drive means nothing will crash. A touch screen display is really the only other peice of equipment needed.

Who has one and what problems have you ran into?

Hello people... I have a JVC car audio system (KD-SV3104) and I want to decide which speakers to buy.. I posted a question yesterday also and after i received some answers, i went to town and looked into some speakers.. Some say that 4-way or 5-way speakers have less bass than 3-way speakers regardless of the number of watts mentioned on the box. I have a choice of going for a 3-way 280 watt JVC speakers or 380 watt 4-way Pioneer or Kenwood or 480 watt 5-way Pioneer..They all are oval shaped. I think the 3-way JVC fits my budget well though.. Is 280 a good power? My player is 50 into 4.. I want some bass and the sound quality not to blast my windows.. I'm still on the fence.. Which speakers to buy ( Pioneer, Kenwood or JVC) and which power (watt) range to go for.. I'd like to have JVC speakers with my JVC player but i don't know about the sound quality and durability of JVC and Kenwood speakers.. What should i do? Ryan, what do you think is better? Everybody else is invited to answer.

Well about a month ago the right front speaker gets louder the tweeter does and sounds distorted than the other ones and fades in and out and it goes back to normal I have an alpine cd player powering them. Is it blown and how do you test a blown speaker. Ive taken it apart and switch the speaker with the other one and it still does it could I have blown both speakers they look okay. sometimes I do hear crackling noise or a little static on both of them sometimes actual sounds like rice cripsies. I do blare the music a lot but the bass is down to a -2 and treble is +5 and balance is even. I think there blown but just want a second opion also how do you test blown speakers.

I have a Chrystler 300 M. The radio quit working and the equalizer is flashing in 3 pulses. There is nothing on the display screen, it is completely dark. I checked the fuses, nothing is blown. My brother-n-law said he had a chevy caviler that would do the same thing and there was some code that he could punch in and it would reset the radio.

I have an Alpine IVA-W200 in my car along with a complete Alpine Type-R setup (12' Sub in the rear). I was wondering what the Bass Center Frequency setting does and what would be a good setting for the best bass / audio.

Anyone know where I can get a cheap adapter to plug into my cassette player in order for me to listen to my CD's?? My CD player is currently broken, and at this time, it'll be alot cheaper for me to find one of these things, instead of replacing the cd player. Or if someone knows of where I can get a 6 disk, in-dash cd changer for a 2000 Isuzu player for cheap???????? All help appreciated!!

As a general rule of thumb, I try to stay away from off brands, but my girlfriend just bought a new car, and it has a BOSE speaker system, but she keeps complaining that the subwoofer installed in the car doesn't do anything, so I was going to put in a 15'' to fill in the sound. (there's plenty of mid-bass, just nothing below like 40hz). She wants cheap, and I'm looking at Lanzar, because I know they make relatively cheap products, but does anyone know how their 15'' sounds?
