I am thinking about buying the Pioneer avic-d2...Does it play dvd movies?? Or just navigate? thanks!!?

it plays dvds you can buy a tv tuner for it, it can play both your cd/mp3's at the same time your dvd disc is in it, plus if you have xm radio, it will work with it to route you through traffic. its really a awesome unit. i have the n2, which is about the same, mine just has a flip out screen, but i love mine. its very very cool.

no it doesent play dvds. it has a dvd rom used for navigation . you need an external dvd player
