My vehicle has plates from Virginia but since my husband and I will be living in California he told me i shold switch my car plates to CA next month since i will need to renew them anyhow. But, i'm not sure what exactly i need to do to go about that...Can you help me??

I am trying to hook up my JVC MP3 deck in my girlfriends Saturn Vue. After successfully connecting the new wire harness to the correct wires on the deck, I get no display, no radio function. All I can do is load/unload CD's, press the display button to make the deck light up, and that's it. It is getting power, obviously. I have the RCA's hooked up to the back, but they are not plugged into the amp yet. The factory ground is hooked up as well as the ground that is one of the wires. HELP HELP HELP!!!

My sub is a 12 made by JL Audio and my amp is made by alpine. The amp has 3 knobs on it labled Bass EQ, Gain, and LP filter. The LP Filter ranges from 50-200, the Bass EQ ranges from 0db to 12+DB and the Gain ranges from min to max. I want to know where to place each knob so that I get the most deep and loud sounding bass possible.

This radio cassette is not standard for my car. The ariel is conected and the cassette works fine but all I get on the radio is static. I do not have a code but assume that as the cassette works there is no need for it. Any help would be appreciated.

I turn on my radio and mostly get static. Every now and then it will let me tune into a my station but mostly not. It only tunes into a few stations. Then just out of the blue it will will tune in perfectly. I'll be driving down the road and bam! It stops working. Please any advice you have I could use any. I've tried screwing with the antena and nothing seems to help

I have 2 audiobahn flame Q's that rms around i think 1200 watts and i have a Power Acoustik 1920 watt 2-channel amp with a 3 farad capacitor. What i'm trying to figure out is if i should port the box for maximum possible bass, alot of people are telling me bandpass but i don't feel like spending the time nor the effort to build a bandpass box and money is also short so im not going to just go out and buy one any suggestions on how big or how small with how many ports and what size or any suggestions will be helpful. Factory-installed unit in Mercedes E320 has the door which flips down for the cassette to be inserted. The door flips down ok but the tape is stuck. The "eject" soft-key which should be displayed in the LCD display does not show up so there is no way to eject using the controls. Is there some sort of release mechanism that can be triggered to eject the cassette?

I bought a rockford fosgate 500bd mono amp from ebay. i opened it up when i got it to make sure nothing was wrong with it and while i was looking it over i saw on the circuit board "rockford fosgate 1500bd". I was wondering why it would say that if its a 500bd.

During the day, radio reception in my car is great but at night, it's horrible. It seems like all the English stations got taken over by Mexican stations cause all I hear is mariachi music. The stuff I want to hear are barely audible in the background.

This is rural area, btw.

The stereo didnt work when I got the car, but I was told it did. I can turn it on, see what station its on, change the station...everything but hear it. I had someone check the speakers and they said they were fine, I dont understand how the radio can come on but I cannot hear it. I dont think its the fuses because if they were bad, I wouldnt be able to see lights and channels
