i have a massey ferguson 4880 im wanting to know what sound system would work best in it and where to place subs and speakers in the cab this is a very large farm tractor and spend many hours in it please help

The cab doesn't have a factory system? Well, anyway, a car audio system will work but I wouldn't do anything fancy because the dust, vibration, heat, etc. will make it not very long lived. John Deere has systems that can be added to their cabs after market and you could probably install one of those in a Massey. I wouldn't bother with a CD player, it'll never last in the dust. I would go with satellite radio (I prefer serius) because you get tons of channels with good variety and no commercials. You can get serius ready decks from an audio store, or you can get an add-on reciever that you could then also use in your pickup or home to get more use out of it.

I'm not an installer, so sorry I can't give you more specific instructions.

if the tractor has a 12 volt system..get loud boombox (portable stereo) and an inverter to change the 12 volt DC into 120V AC. or perhaps you can find a boombox that has a DC connector. That would be the least expensive and time consuming, as opposed to installing a full sound car system. if you REALLY want to install a car system...contact me and i'll help you out a lot
