This radio cassette is not standard for my car. The ariel is conected and the cassette works fine but all I get on the radio is static. I do not have a code but assume that as the cassette works there is no need for it. Any help would be appreciated.

I do not have a code but assume that as the cassette works there is no need for it.It is not that the display is blank there just is no display panel at all. No money for new radio. tone deaf anyway but like talk radio and cricket on long wave. Also I have hours of tapes and no CD's

Get a new aftermarket radio youll be alot happier with the sound quality and who still uses cassettes anyway unless its to plug a cd player into a stock radio???
