I have 2 audiobahn flame Q's that rms around i think 1200 watts and i have a Power Acoustik 1920 watt 2-channel amp with a 3 farad capacitor. What i'm trying to figure out is if i should port the box for maximum possible bass, alot of people are telling me bandpass but i don't feel like spending the time nor the effort to build a bandpass box and money is also short so im not going to just go out and buy one any suggestions on how big or how small with how many ports and what size or any suggestions will be helpful. "and also i have dynamted the entire trunk"

Do the best of both worlds - a sealed/ported or bandpass

Here's some info on box types:

get a ported box.not only will you get max bass but the ports double as a air tunnel...sealed box's are for single subs.and bandpass box's are really just for looks.i would also suggest that you faced the subs towards the trunk for maximum feedback..the port size should match the center of the cone,if the cone is 2' then cut a port for 2' and only cut two ports on the left and right of the subs .....not on top or the back,,don't cut any larger than 3 and a half inches

I have 2 of those same 12" speakers with a 2000watt rms hifonics amp and a vented box and they hit lows better than most systems i hear with 15's and the response didnt suffer that much. Hold on let me go measure the box cause its right in my room right now its 33"W 17" deep and 14" tall if you wanna get a guess at the inside demisions and vent width go look at my car domain page on the second page the link for my site is in the description for my profile. And dont listen to them people true the manufacture has specs but that goes for both, its really what YOU prefer. If you want real tight vibrate everything around you bass go with the seald box, if you want boomy shake the sht outta everything around ya go with the vented, vented will also give you more SPL (hence my name)

If you LOVE music then you will get a sealed box. If you just wanna be heard then you should get a ported box. A sealed box will give you more accurate bass. The drawback on a sealed box is that you need a lot of watts, but you dont have that problem.

Since you have dynomat ported should be fine..and it also depends on how u put it.... try putting it in different positions (facing, up facing front or back) and make sure u have good speakers because u might be hearing alot of bass and little sound....if both of ur subs equal 1200 watts and ur amp is 1900 it could blow ur subs if u bump it to the fullest.

From what I understand the answer is easier than you think or not what you really want to hear. "To port or not to port" is really based on what the manufacturer's recommendation is. Most speakers are designed to work optimally in one design or the other. You really want your speaker to work efficiently and one or the other design facilitates this. You have huge amounts of power, I don't need to tell you this. Now, get it to work as designed and it will go low and not exhaust both the speaker and your amps.

port it. sound works with a moving member at a frequency carried by air. the speaker needs to breath. sealed with the increased air pressure that the cone produces will not let it articulate properly, resulting in poor acoustics

port it, and a 21/2 to 3" hole for each speaker is good

depends on what type of bass you want. clean accurate bass-sealed. loud and boomy-ported, check the spec sheet of the subwoofers, and see what they suggest. they should give sealed and ported sizes.

sealed will make it hit harder, but you already have quite enough power so if you don't want to waste your money I suggest you get a ported...and please don't try to make the box yourself...
