You think thats bad, I drove in to Green Island hills with my Suburban and four 15 " running two amps and two capacitors handling 5,000 watts. I seen porch lights coming on on my way back when I turned around and it is a rich neighborhood. Any how when I got to the gate at the exit the police were waiting for me, but since I had already turned it off all I got was a warning. If the Police had heard it they would of wrote me up.
So the answer to your questions is yes you need to respect others .

It depends.. I have no problems with subwoofers in my neighborhood as long as it is not 3 am on Tuesday morning..
I wouldn't of called the cops, I would of had the early morning offender beaten stupid...

My neighbors did that to me once too, but the cops couldnt really doing anything. I dont think its right, i mean if you get your subs online and then they come in the mail, you want to test them out, so just wait for something your neighbors do so you can call the cops on them.

Most cities have noise ordnance's...
Obey them...
If I have to get up @ 4 in the morning to catch a flight... I'd be pissed of some guy across the street is 'thumping' in his driveway @ 11pm.
If this only happened once or twice, that is one thing... but if you're constantly thumping the neighborhood, and have no respect for others lives... then yeah... You deserve to get your *** in trouble.
I have a loud car and stereo... but I talk to my neighbors, and I would NEVER have it anywhere near obnoxious levels anytime past 9pm...

Of Course! How would you like everyone in your neighborhood beating on your head with a hammer every time they drove by. You should have had your whip-ride impounded for being the most important person on your block, DUMB-A$$!

There are laws (seldomly enforced) which say any music that carries more than 50 yds can get you cited and fined. I think that's a good law.
