I recently upgraded to a 800watt rms amp, 1500w bridged at 2 ohms, which is how i have it wired to my subwoofers. I had a 450w amp in my car before that. I kept the old power wiring and hooked it up to my new amp. Both power and ground wires are 10 gauge and are rated at 200watts, is it bad to have my amp running on these wires? And if so, what should i upgrade to?

You should upgrade to 4 gauge wiring, because your current wiring is just a fire waiting to happen. 10 gauge wire cant handle the power your pushing now.
