If the voice coil is blown it is cheaper and the only thing to do is too replace the sub. And if it was a new sub see if under warranty and see if they replace the sub. If you had it installed by a stereo shop you can take it to them and see if they warranty them. They might want to send to the mfg for replacement. Also what make them blow is audible distortion if that is case they will not warranty them. If this happen you might want to lower you amp or check the crossover for correct settings. Also if you have them in the wrong size box or if it is not set up correctly this can shorten the life of the speaker. What I would do is some research before you install the speaker into the same box to see what type of power ratings your speaker gets in your box. I E the air space and port if any.

You can have them re-coned, if they were expensie ones. If they were cheap-o's, just replace em. Not worth the money it would take to do the re-cone.
