There are a number of different things that you can do but without knowing nissans or how their stereo's are wired, I can only give you a general guideline.

The best possible option would be if your stereo had an audio input jack where you could hard-wire your ipod directly into the stereo. Most new cars (2005 and later), come specifically with this option because of all the portable MP3 players out there. If this isn't an option for you, you could choose to upgrade your stereo that supports audio input. If you're unsure whether or not your current stereo has an audio input jack, consult your car manual or take it to a car audio shop. If you're really into it, you can remove the stereo yourself and look at the back of it to see if there's an input jack.

Most commonly, there's the tape deck adapter that I use in for my own ipod. The tape adapters work pretty well and offer good quality audio. You can find tape adapters anywhere at Radio Shack to Best Buy, all for between $10-20. The only downside is that it looks like crap having an umbilicle cord coming out of your tape deck and into your ipod, but it is the best cheap option I have and that's what I've been using for 3 years.

However, fewer and fewer cars support tape decks and you might be left without one on your Murano. In that case, you can purchase an FM transmitter that connects to your ipod and sends a signal to a set radio station. Personally, I have always had trouble with static and audio quality is significantly degraded since you are essentially listening to the radio. There are a number of different transmitters out there and I can't tell you which one would be the best.

It depends on what options you have and how much you're willing to spend to maximize your ipod's acoustic potential. If you are really serious about everything, I suggest that you go to a professional car-audio spot and have them give you the run down. For instance, I know some shops that have integrated ipod controls into the Prius's display without having to install new hardware. As I said before, there are a lot of options out there. It just depends on how motivated you and and how much you want to spend.

If you have a tape deck in your car, just buy one of the things that plugs into your headphone jack and has a casette on the end. If not, you can buy a cheap FM converter that will broadcast your Ipod at an FM frequency.

dont. they're completely unreliable. bypass for a radio participant. it plugs into an ipod and performs music by potential of radio signal. you could %. it up quite properly in a motor vehicle or maybe as it is next to a radio.

Won't work with a stock system. You need to upgrade your deck to support auxiliary out. Don't get that itrip ish, it never works in a city when there is more than two radio stations.
