XM radio was pre-installed in my Infiniti Fx-35. It sucks, so I want to switch to Sirius radio now, but apparently i need to do something to my radio to get Sirius to work. The dealer pointed me to www.soundgate.com but I'm not sure what I'm looking for on the site? Any ideas what equipment i need to make the change?

I only have a cd player and a radio in my car and I would like to hook my mp3 player up to the speakers. The thing is, FM transmitters are pretty much useless. Is there any place that installs mp3 hookups into your car or something similar? Thanks.

i have a TMA amp made by jl audio its the t360.2 model it claims to put out 360 watts x 1 at 4 ohms when bridged.....when i run a single 12" alpine type r to it it pushes the alpine good if its bridged but the amp gets very hot pretty quick and eventually will shut down...why is this? i was told that when you bridge it the amp sees a 2 ohm load...but the amp is not stable bridged to 2 ohms right? the sub is wired to 4 ohms i know it is and its useless to not bridge it because it only puts out 110 watts unbridged....what do i do or is there just no way around this?

I want to get the kenwood mp435u, which has a USB on the front, but in order to use it with the ipod connector cable, you have to conect the cable to a pin-port on the back AND the USB on the front, which would look bad and means I couldn't use the USB port (the reason im buying this model).

my question is, can I simply not hook the usb portion of the cable and waive the ability for the tags to show up on the stereo and just manually choose the songs. when i connect the connector to the ipod, will it still charge and link the audio only?

I am buying a new car stereo. It will be a sony since I can get it for free with my hard earned Sony points.

I found a hard connect on Amazon but the reviews were terrible. I don't want to use an FM transmitter, it's a pain when I'm traveling and have to find free frequencies.

Has anyone had success with a connector with their iPod? Can you provide the model information?

I have an aftermarket stereo that I need to install into a 2007 Honda Civic LX and I can't get a solid answer from anyone if it's even possible. It doesn't look like the standard 2007 Civic LX stereo head unit can even be removed. It looks likes it's molded into the dashboard. Please help. Thanks.

I have just purchased a Ford Fiesta LX. Regged 2003. But the dealer has no idea of the code for the radio. I presume that if i have to change the battery I will need it. Has anyone any ideas how I could get a copy. It was a company car previously and they have no idea what it could be.

I was installing an amp/subs in an '01 ES300 last night using the factory radio with a stepdown converter. I tapped into the factory sub in the rear deck to get my low pass signal. I ran the battery cable through the firewall, and I also pulled the factory cd player out, and connected my remote wire to the GREY wire in the harness after metering it with my dmm to check and see if it's an accessory wire. Now even with disconnecting *everything* I installed, the factory cd player will not come back on. I keep trying to replace the 20amp fuse under the hood and it keeps popping. I've checked for pinched wires and can't find any as well. I pulled the glove box out to access the factory amp and when I pull the 3 harnesses off the amp, I can put the 20amp fuse in and the radio will turn out (granted no sound of course), but when I plug back in the amp harnesses, it fuse pops... sounds to me like somehow I might have blown the factory amp. Any ideas??
