Never bad, but sometimes a burned CD just may not work, but it will not hurt the player.

A burned cd should work just like a regular cd. Some recievers don't take burned copies (like my dad's '99 Dakota... dont know what model cd player he has.) But if the cd reciever in YOUR car takes it, then it should be fine.

No. If your CD player will play it then it is just fine. If the CD player is having trouble playing normal CD's then there is a problem but it's not cause you played burnt CD's on it.

That is all I ever use in my car. I never play original cd's. Play away, just don't use any stick-on labels.
