rear right side of the bumper make a vole and install it there it is a good location and good ground it is not pretty but it works

In the center of the roof is always the best choice as far as performance is concerned.
Then you may have low clearance problems if you use a large antenna tho.
Bumper mounted antennas will have unusual directivity characteristics which will vary your transmitted signal strength and recieve strength when driving around a lot more than a center roof antenna.
Also tuning the SWR can be a problem on bumper mounter antennas due to near location of sheet metal near the antenna element itself.
For transmitted range a bumper mount is your least best choice.

Best place is in the centre of the roof!
