i have a 2001 chevy s10 V6 and i have no clue where the best place would be?

i have heard, that if you have a automatic, there is a spot where the clutch would go, it makes a nice spot to penetrate. other wise look for a existing cap, sometimes (in my case there was) a hole predrilled with a cap on it, removed the cap and whalla a 1" hole... I left the rubber cap in place and drilled a hole just small enough for the wire.

Go through an existing hole. One that has a rubber grommet installed to help shield the wires.

If you decide against that, then drill a hole where you want. Just be sure that you are not drilling into anything on the other side, and be sure to include a grommet to save the wires

also if you drill a hole, be sure to spray the hole with a clear coat or use a clear finger nail polish to prevent the metal from rusting
