It sounds like you have an in-depth background in audio.Do you work in the audio-electronics field? How do you find the time to answer so many questions?

I have a pair of Kenwood KFC-W3010 that has a maximum Peak wattage power of 1000, and an RMS wattage of 200. And there's a speaker that i've been hearing Krazy things about. It's by Directed and it has a maximum Peak wattage of 1200 and an RMS wattage of 600. Since it has 3x's the RMS wattage of the Kenwood's does it necessarily mean that it'll hit 3x's as hard. And would I get better results from one Directed sub verses 2 Kenwwod subs?

I have 2 600 watts pioneer amp pushing 4 kicker comp subs.I just had 2 kickers with one 600 watt amp first. Then I recently added 2 more kicker's and another 600 watt amp.It still sounds the same as it did with only 2 kickers. I figured it would thump and be more lounder but it just sounds the same,. The way I hooked the other amp up is by just running all the wires to the other amp,did I do something wrong, should i consider briding them, some info will help out alot.
Thanks

What are your opinions on having component speakers. Do you think if you have a really good head unit(Pioneer7800) that comes with a 16 band equalizer runnig to an amp then to door speakers that component speakers are necassary or are they for factory players just upgrading door speakers? It is the only thing I lack in deciding if the extra components are woth it.

One of those halfwits with an overly loud "boom boom boom" stereo system pulled up next to me at a light today. Both of us had our windows up, yet his bass almost rattled my fillings loose. I glared at him and he just flipped me off. I simply called the police and told them I had seen him try to talk a little girl into getting into his car. I saw him being frisked about a mile down the road. I laughed myself silly, and had absolutely zero compunction for having done so. What do you guys think?

Hi I have a 94 Cutlass Supreme and I had a 15'' SoloBaric l7 with a 1400.4 channel Crunch Ground Pounder amp.I was in the car listening to music with my friend the ignition was on ACC and was on for maybe about 20 minutes.Than I powered on my car and as I started to drive the Volt light came on my dash!!and drove for about 10 minutes more than shut off.I disconnected the amp.I got a jump it stayed on for about 3 minutes and cut back off.I got another jump and as I started to try to drive the lights got dimmer as I got on the gas, and and than cut off again. Is this my alternator or some other issue? please help!!!

I havent got a answer that can help me!! I'am trying to find out if I should buy the Premier 12''TS-W3004SPL, or should I buy the SoloBaricL715''. I'am lookling to buy only one out of the two subs, but I want to know wich will give me the strongest bass response as in SPL.I know that the Premier is capable of 3,000 watts output, while the 15'' Solo BaricL7 is 2,000.But I just really cant figure out if I should buy either one can someone let me know wich sounds better in bass.I'am looking to be in the decibel range of 100+ remember its the 15 inch Solo Baric not 12'' and the Premier 12''TS-W3004SPL.PLEASE HELP!!!

I have a 2004 GM vehicle, and looking to replace factory cd player with factory cd/cassette. Have found some used ones that came from 2001 and 2002 (same model vehicle) but saw somewhere that I have to use 2004 parts or newer or else the codes won't unlock,. True or false? Most ads say the system will work in 00-04, so I thought that meant any of them, but now I'm confused.
