im thinking about buying 2 12in kicker comp vx subs 750rms have read reviews saying they ask for more then 750rms

i assume you read reviews from people on circut citys website. what these people dont tell you is they have no clue what there talking about. stick with the rms, thats what its there for. you start going above that, you start blowing sh*t up.

The RMS wattage is actually a reference. Not set in stone.

I demo countless subs of different qualities all day long with a 5000w audiobahn rack amp in a 3000 square foot building and have yet to blow any sub.

In general, then more power the better (when properly adjusted and installed)

Buy the best amp you can afford. Even if it means saving for an extra month. You wont be sorry.
