One of those halfwits with an overly loud "boom boom boom" stereo system pulled up next to me at a light today. Both of us had our windows up, yet his bass almost rattled my fillings loose. I glared at him and he just flipped me off. I simply called the police and told them I had seen him try to talk a little girl into getting into his car. I saw him being frisked about a mile down the road. I laughed myself silly, and had absolutely zero compunction for having done so. What do you guys think?

metalman: you might be right about my bad judgement, but you're plain ol' wrong about having the "right" to listen to your music as loud as you choose. Your right to enjoy your loud music ends where my right to enjoy a quiet environment begins. Why do you feewl the "right" to blast your music at space shuttle launch type decibels is more pressing than my right to peace and quiet?

Well...I only have a problem with this if it kept them from a real serious crime, such as the one you reported.

But, I sympathize completely! I get so sick of punks driving up my residential street with their stereos thumping so loud I can clearly hear it over my inside radio or TV, especially when my baby is napping!

IF you are telling the truth, you will probably be prosecuted for filing a false claim. They have your number and address since you used a cell phone. It may even take a while for them to contact you but just because you don't hear from them right away does not mean you got away with it. Sometimes takes a couple of months. The police do not take this lightly. That was not a very smart thing to do. Especially since most communities now have noise ordinances. You could have reported him for that instead. Now you go and make a confession on Yahoo Answers.Unbelievable. BTW, if the police file charges it becomes public record so now the guy can get your address. You might want to stop laughing and start looking for an attorney just in case.

I am a reformed guy who used to have a boom boom boom stereo and I have flipped people off before. However I am not a child molester. Using the law to your advantage and filing false charges is quite punishable. Karma will get back to you......I suggest you use better judgement.

i think people have a right to play there music as loud as they want, within a resonable time. i mean no one wants to hear them going past your house at 3 am. so with that said, i think your an idiot, and your the one that should be arrested for making a false report. just remember my friend, karma can be a real b*tch.
