I have 2 12" sony subs powered by a Sound Storm amp. The sony subs are 1300 watts each and the amp is 1600 watts. I got them installed 2 weeks ago and they worked fine. A few days ago I was driving and they turned off. The Amp is being powering the subs but you cant hear anything. The subs are connected. I went to get them fixed and they magically worked. Then I left the car installation and they turned off again. The fuses aren't blown. What
is it and how do I fix it?

My car battery was flat and after recharging I found that the stereo was asking for a security code. My 4 year old helpfully tried to put in her own code! I can't clear it now to try and input the correct one. Pls can anyone help?

I just recently replaced the battery in my 2004 honda accord EX and everything works fine except for the radio. When I turn the car on the display comes up with message ErrE, or COdE. And the clock is constantly flashing not allowing me to set it. What code should I put in?

My wife recently let my brother tool around with my subs and amp in my car. Now when I turn my lights on in the car the speakers humm really loud. If I turn the stereo off the noise stops. Any ideas before I go rewiring the whole thing. Also he didn't mess with the stereo head, just the subs and amp.

I have 4 Type S Alpine Speakers, im deciding if i need a deck or and amp to power these to the fullest. Although a deck would be alot easier of install im willing to buy an amp if it shows better gains in clarity/loudness/bass increase.

Here are the specs of the speakers:
-Handles up to 250 watts peak power (50 watts RMS)
-Frequency response: 35Hz - 30kHz
-Sensitivity: 92dB
-Impedance: 4 ohm

Here is the amp im looking at:

here is the head unit:

Now i know they are big links so it looks like a hastle to look at... but still, im in serious help..i know how to wire them up but im not sure which one would give me the best quality, the deck or amp.

Is there anyone that could recommend a medium to high quality audio speakers that fit properly in a '92 Corrado?

I have been looking to find what speakers will fit, I'm finding the specs to be very specific about what won't fit.

All the speakers I have found on line indicate that they do NOT fit.

Have yet to any speakers that DO fit.

Sure would like to find some information. Greatly appreciate your help.

I am having an arguement re this. I changed the speakers in the rear of my car yesterday and when I went to start the car about six hours later, the battery had completely died! I checked the wiring and noticed that I had installed both speakers different from one another (wires arround different ways).

My mate tells me that this wouldn't drain the battery, yet I believe it has, due to the fact the battery has never needed a charge before and is used on a daily basis. Seems very peculiar that the battery should be flat having changed the speakers incorrectly.
