"Best" is a relative term. The performance I want in a speaker may not be what you want. So there is no correct answer.

Also, best for what:

budget
performance
sealed or ported enclosure
power handling
ease of installation

Too many factors...

what size solo x? and are you looking for SQ or SPL?

overall i'd say the w7 is the better woofer. the kicker is just loud. as too which is louder, i'd say the solo x.

however neither are louder then Pioneer's 5000SPL.
