I'd like to get that bass feeling in ur chest when you're in the vehicle. and also be loud enough to hear outside the vehicle. Would 200watts be good enough for that at least?

if the woofer is only 200watts RMS. and the amp is 200watts RMS. than that means that you will be bumpin that woofer at the best recommended wattage. so you should not try to get it a bigger amp.

but unfortunately....you are looking for something stronger. 200watts RMS will give you some bump in your trunk but nothing to crazy.

try getting some around 650watts RMS and up.

my cars amp is 2000watts RMS.
and my 2 12" woofers are 1000watts RMS each.

and that right there slams exaduratedly hard.

but mostly i think you'll be really happy with about 1000watts RMS

It will have decent bass, but nothing earth shattering.

depends on the sub, box, and car. what sub/subs do you have, and is the car a hatch back?
