how and where can i get in the mobile audio field. to be a technician or a job do i have to go to school or something or is it a intership type thing

^^^ I really fail to see the need to be a perfect writer in order to ask a question on Yahoo. If you are not going to answer the question why even respond in such a fashion. With that being said you can begin by just exposing yourself to the field. I do think there are specialized schools that deal with this but you have to search for those. Another great way like you mentioned is an apprentice. Hands on experience is a great thing to have along with knowledge in electronics. You wont believe the amount of people working on electronic equipment that have little or no knowledge of basic electronics. Even if you decide not to pursue this area you will still have the skills to work on your vehicle with out the need of "professional" installers. Good Luck
