Are Premier 12'' TS-W3004SPL Better than soloBaricL715''?

Question

I havent got a answer that can help me!! I'am trying to find out if I should buy the Premier 12''TS-W3004SPL, or should I buy the SoloBaricL715''. I'am lookling to buy only one out of the two subs,but I want to know wich will give me the strongest bass response as in SPL.I know that the Premier is capable of 3,000 watts output,while the 15'' Solo BaricL7 is 2,000.But I just really cant figure out if I should buy either one can someone let me know wich sounds better in bass.I'am looking to be in the decibel range of 100+ remember its the 15 inch Solo Baric not 12'' and the Premier 12''TS-W3004SPL.PLEASE HELP!!!

it depends on the type of car you're driving, the type of box it's going in, and the type of music you listen to.

You should be able to easily get over 100 db (as long as everything was installed properly) with either sub
The 15" kicker would generally give you deeper bass (rap/hip hop)
The 12" pioneer would give you a crisper bass (rock, heavy metal)

The choice will pretty much come down to personal preference

I've had 10's 12's and 15's all installed, and they all seem to have strong points AND weak points. The most important thing to do is to make sure the speaker is installed in the right type of box in the right place inside your vehicle

You can't always go by the ratings given by the manufacturers. I'd say that the power handling for those two speakers is pretty close to the same. Most brands rate their products rediculously high, while Kicker is fairly conservative. There will be quite a difference in the way each speaker sounds, however, as the L7 will have a much larger speaker cone area. It'll give you a much deeper bass than the 12" Pioneer, but it might not have as tight of response.

didnt i answer your question before? i think i did. anywho both speakers will sound differnt. however the Premier is the best choice yet again. there both capable of producing sound as low as 18hrz. here are the fast specs on both.

note both have the same RMS, but the premier will give you higher freq the the kicker, which is where a lot of your bass guitars are. also the the sensitivity on the Preimer is higher. meaning it will be the more efficent, of the 2. also chances are it will be louder.

listen to both and see which you like more. but IMO you cant go wrong with the Premier 3000.

Alpines. bro. i own 2 10s and they punch awesome. great low frequency response. also, for connecting the power cable, there should be a hole with rubber where cables are accessed to the engine. it depends where your battery is. on the right or left. ANOTHER way could be, drilling a whole under the trunk. (watch the fuel tank) most cars have caps so water can be drained from the bottom of the trunk. you can attach the cable to the frame and run it to the front. i havent done that but it is possible. if you happend to drill a hole though the firewall for battery access, MAKE SURE that you seal it somehow. you dont want any fumes such as carbon monoxide or oher harmful gases to enter the cabin. and you need at least a 10 gauge cable for them 4000w. the ground, you can drill a hole on the metal of the trunk, take sum paint off, and screw the cable in. that way you wont have to get the ground for the battery also. (dont drill on the sides of the car) drill right under the trunk door or somehwere there where the metal is good and solid.
