When looking for one, brand doesn't matter. What does matter is the Farad rating and the ESR.
It's 0.5 Farad for every 500 watts and the lower the ESR the better.

I have never seen a speaker box that will handle 1100 watts. Maybe a speaker, but no speaker box. J/K. You don't have to have it, but it would help so much. They are def. worth the time and money. Make sure to use real wire too, no crappy stuff. Use very small guage for amp, maybe 2 or 0. It'll cost extra, but it is worth it trust me.

i'm assuming you already own a gel battery? a cap isn't always neccessary. you might also upgrade your big 3 if you haven't done so. usually, changing these things around make a huge difference alone.
especially since the stock wiring from the battery to the alternator is a small size.

Not super absolutely necessary but you SHOULD especially if without it you are seeing your lights dim when the bass hits hard.
If that doesn't work then try the Alternator, Battery and Alternator Wire (Big 3 mentioned above...correct me if I'm wrong).

The amp draws power every time the bass hits. (thump-thump-thump)
A capacitor holds just enough power for the power draw every time the bass hits.
I would highly recommend one.

It is if your lights deem, and it will be a good choice if you get one because it supply's more power to your subs which cause's it to thump more. So I would consider getting one
