What is covered under "maintenance coverage" from BMW for a BMW certified car that some dealers offer you?

I am a first time car buyer, a brand new one that is. I am planning on shelling out a big downpayment and i am thinking this will help me get a better deal..is that true? what can you advice me? i am choosing between the mazda 3 and the honda civic. I live in LA and am thinking of getting my car somewhere in the valley for it to be a little cheaper. Anything else? i am so confused here.

I saw many used cars in ebay but couldnt bid for them because i dont have a credit card and neither the money to pay for them, but i know they will be sold profitably in africa.
Has anyone got idea what i should do?

about 18 months ago i lost my job and my car was reposessed. i still owed like 10,000 on it and i had the choice of paying the car payment or paying rent and getting groceries for my kids. so i called the place i had the loan from and i was told if the car was repo'ed i wasnt liable for the balance owed on the car. so now i get calls and letters from this collection agency and i am being told that i have to pay them all this money or i am going to jail....
i dont have the contracts i signed anymore so i dont know exactally what it said but generally can they do this?

I got my truck through a dealer how did an inside financing, I pay 175 every two weeks I was two wekks behind so they came a took the vehicle. I have the money to catch up as well as any fees. The are now saying that ( the company) dosent want to give it back to us and that they found another loan company who will refinance the balance ?? Is this legal ?????

A couple of months ago a bought a 1997 misubishi galant for $800 dollars. The reason why it was so cheap it was because I agree to buy the transmission and pay some one to put it. Now the car has another problem I took the car to a mechanic and he told me that I not only need the transmission but a new head gascket to. In other words a new motor. So what they say because I dont know anything about cars. Well any ways I am selling the car for $600 dollars and my boyfriend tells me that is to much money for that car because of the situation the car is in. I don't know if he is saying this because he wants me to sell the car to his brother for $500 dollars or because it is too much. But I just think that at least I should get most of my money back.

What do you guys think m I selling the car for too much money. Or is that a good price for my 1997 misubishi galant.

Please tell me what should I do. I don't know anything about cars at all.

What do you think? We've been looking at Toyotas but this one seems like a better overall deal. Also should we buy it loaded or buy after market leather, tint, etc. = dealer says after market is better quality at lower price. Saw a 2005 Eddie Bauer package with low mileage for about the same $ as the new standard model (still in warranty). Advice?

Mechanic tell me my beat-up 97 Suburban needs expensive repairs, again. Seems like time to think of getting something else. I have seven children, live in a mountainous area with snow, and haul lots of groceries and home renovation materials, and the old Suburban has been perfect -- although the children think I need something bigger, and it's tight when we travel. Should I get another one (used -- 3-5 years old, under 60K miles), or is there another vehicle out there that I should consider that would meet my needs? (I really hate vans -- too hard to park, boring to look at, etc. , but feel free to try to convince me I'm wrong on that)

I read the Yahoo headline. I read the article. First - Toyoyta passed Ford as No. 2. Refreshed the page... Then Toyoyta passed Crysler as No. 3... Maybe I'm old. Maybe I have brain fog.
